Booker T. Washington Class of '46 Activities
                        
     The Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1946 held its first quarterly meeting at the Huntersville Recreation Center on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. with the class president, James Nixon conducting the meeting. Prayer was given by Clinton Calhoun. It was noted that class members had donated $200.00 to the Booker T. Washington High School Track Team and $500.00 to a scholarship recipient. During 2007, donations were also made to the 4-H organization, the Salvation Army, Union Mission and Christmas baskets.
    The following officers were elected: president, James M. Nixon, Sr.; assistant president, Ralph Saunders; recording secretary, L. Estelle Riddick; assistant secretary, Mae Bailey;
financial secretary, Vivian S. Walker; treasurer and chaplain, Clinton Calhoun; scholarship committee, Geraldine A. Sessoms and reporter, Viola C. Riddick.
