Banquet To Honor Sen Louise Lucas

     The Honorable L. Lucas, Senator for the 18th Senatorial District Of  Virginia, will be honored during a special banquet and reception, at the Portsmouth Renaissance Hotel on Friday, April 11, 2008. It is open to the public and begins at 6:45 p.m. A VIP reception will be held at 6:00 p.m.
      The banquet is being held in Sen. Lucas’ honor because of her outstanding leadership and dedicated service to Virginia, said organizers. In addition to her political service, Sen. Lucas is being honored as a successful businesswoman.
      The VIP reception is $100 (includes a banquet). The individual tickets for the banquet is $50.00. The proceeds will go to the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority's Scholarship Foundation.
