Chrystal E Returns To Present Free Concert At Norcom

   Former Portsmouth native and I.C. Norcom graduate Chrystal E. returns to her alma mater to present a free concert that showcases her diverse musical talents.
    The 2004 honor Norcom graduate is currently at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and soon to be attending graduate school at Yale University School of Music.
    While she lived in Portsmouth, she attended the Governor's School for the Arts and received private vocal study and coaching. She has won a number of music awards and scholarships that have helped support her goals.
   An Evening with Chrystal E. 2008 is being called a year of celebration by her family for the faithful support of all those who have believed in her and her dreams.

"This good will act is done to let people see and hear how much prayer, financial and moral support can help a performing artist excel while giving encouragement to a rising senior who has selected a career in the performing arts," said her family.
   They noted Chrystal E. has received enough support to continue having the annual An Evening with Chrystal E. Concert. She has also been given enough support to help her stay focused and to be accepted as a graduate student at Yale University School of Music.
