Hampton Deltas Host 4th Annual Red & White Event

   The Hampton Delta Foundation, Inc. sponsored their fourth annual Red and White Cotillion at the Hampton Convention Center Ballroom on Sunday, March 30th. Twelve beautiful young ladies were presented to society in an elegant formal evening affair.  
Erica McKeithan, Miss Red and White Cotillion 2007 crowned Miss Red and White Cotillion 2008, Miss Jennifer M. Wiggins. 

   First runner-up was Dominique Chawlk; Second runner-up, Taylor Lee; Jasmine Sibley placed third; Morgan Grandison, placed fourth and Jasmine McKinney and Simone Collins placed fifth and sixth respectively. Over $11,259.00 dollars were awarded in scholarships, which will be sent directly to the debutantes’ University or College of choice.

      Simone Collins was chosen Miss Congeniality; Mia Wright was recognized for Academic Achievement (3.94 GPA); and Jasmine McKinney received the Community Service Award for fifty-six hours of community service with the Hampton Youth Commission. Jasmine was also recognized as the Most Dedicated Debutante; in addition, Jasmine received the Perfect Attendance Award. 
    After seven months of workshops, training sessions, special interest activities and the Cotillion, the debutantes and their escorts were congratulated and showered with gifts.
