NCNW Honors Community Servants

  The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. Norfolk Section, held its Awards and Recognition Program on May 4, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Select.  The honorees were selected for their community service and determination to be positive, spiritual role models. Shown are:  Janice House, Section President and NCNW Woman of the Year; Kaiya Lewis, Youth Excellence honoree; Sierra Artis, Women Empowering Youth (WEY) honoree; Tomeika Jones, Janice House Achievement honoree; Felisicia Williams, Awards Chair; Dorothy Riddick, Legacy of Excellence honoree; George Crawley, receiving the Spirit of  Unity award for 200+ Men, Inc.; and Chloe’ Jones, 1st Vice President and Program Chair.
