Norfolk Groups To
Host King Ceremony

     The Hampton Roads Network for Nonviolence will commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on April 4th at 6:00 p.m. at the King Memorial Plaza in Norfolk. A reception will follow at the Vivian Mason Center. The Plaza is located at the corner of Church Street and Brambleton.
      This event is in conjunction with the Season for Nonviolence, supported by participating groups and churches.

   gathering at the Unity Renaissance      Church in Chesapeake to share a meal, speak about their faith, and walk together for peace. Unity Renaissance Church is located at 1120 N. Eden Way in Chesapeake (behind Greenbrier Mall).
      Participants will gain a better understanding of the various faiths represented and taste the special foods prepared by each group.
