Omegas To Host 12th
Scholarship Golf Classic
 
VIRGINIA BEACH—Gamma Xi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. will host its 12th Annual Scholarship Classic Golf Tournament  on May 3 to benefit its scholarship fund. The chapter has been awarding scholarships to area high school seniors since 1976. The tournament will be held at the Oceana Golf Course in Virginia Beach.
      On-site registration is from 11:00 am to 12 noon, with a shotgun start scheduled for 1:00 pm. Costs are $75 per golfer, $65 if active duty military, and covers greens fees, carts, range balls, goody bag and lunch. 
      There will also be opportunities to be selected to participate in skills challenges worth $1,000 to $1 million. A silent auction is planned, as well as other giveaways.  Sponsorships, which include tournament entry of up to four players and company signage on the course, are also available.
