The visit from the Hudsons was in celebration of the READY Academy Media Center Grand Open House where youngsters were able to check out their first book from the newly automatic Media Center. As parents rotated through the Media Center, they were able to check out books and to personally meet the warm and wonderful Hudsons while also purchasing the Hudson books and having them autographed.
The Hudsons later shared with the parents their amazement with the READY Runners students in light of their discipline, enthusiasm and confidence at such an early age.
We were delighted to find out that Cheryl Hudson and Amanda Murray were both 1966 honor graduates of I.C. Norcom High School.
