Rep. Scott To Hold Grant Workshops To Aid Local Groups

   Washington, DC - Representative Bobby Scott, (D-VA-3), will hold two grant workshops to assist his constituents in the 3rd Congressional District on Tuesday, July 1, 2008.
    These workshops will give non-profit and faith-based organizations an opportunity to gain information about grant writing and how to obtain grant resources.  
    The scheduled times are 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Children’s Museum of Virginia, 221 High Street, Portsmouth, Virginia 23704;
And from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Downing Gross Cultural Arts Center, 2410 Wickham Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607
