Ruby Dee In Town

   The legendary activist and actress Ruby Dee was in Hampton Roads last Friday (April 25) for the annual Urban League of Hampton Roads’ Whitney Young Dinner, held in Portsmouth. Shown (center seated), Ms. Dee added her own ageless style and charm to the event.  Earlier in the day, she visited Norfolk State University to speak to students and participated in a morning tea with one of local social/civic organizations.
