Deltas Help In Unveiling New U.S. Postal Stamp for BHM


  Chesapeake, VA –The United States Postal Service’s (USPS) 31st honoree in the Black Heritage Stamp Series was unveiled recently during a special Black History Month Program and Stamp Dedication Ceremony at Indian River Middle School presented by the Chesapeake-Virginia Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.   
   Founded on January 13, 1913, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has been providing service and support to local communities, leading the dialogue on public policy issues, supporting quality education, providing scholarships, sponsoring artistic innovation, creating positive opportunities for the development of youth, and producing new projects to stimulate current and future economic growth.
