Group Launches To Aid Minority-Owned Local Women Firms
Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), the nation’s largest political advocacy group for women and minority owned businesses, has announced the launch of a Virginia Beach Instant Impact team on Jan. 15, 2008.
WIPP Instant Impact is a national grassroots initiative created to empower the organization’s more than half a million members, as well as small business owners across America, to become actively engaged with the district offices of their elected representatives. WIPP Instant Impact teams will work to build relationships and educate lawmakers and fellow business owners about legislation that affects small businesses across the country, concerning issues such as health care for their employees, federal procurement regulations and access to capital.
